I am a photographer who specialises in Newborn, Maternity and Family Photography. I offer sessions to capture your beautiful new baby in those first few precious weeks. As your baby and family grows I love to capture the journey for you. Gorgeous chubby baby sitter sessions, fun cake smash and splash sessions to celebrate a first birthday and even sunrise and sunset shoots I love capturing precious moments for you, your children, your family in your life. My style is natural, simple and beautiful.

I originally studied and became a Clinical Psychologist and I loved it. But photography has been a passion and a hobby since high school. After my son was born my love for photography steadily grew. I switched to digital photography and my passion exploded. With Babies #2 and #3 I learnt more about photography. I took courses, webinars, workshops and I took A LOT of photos of my kids. Friends and family kept telling me to do something with my photography. I did some shoots for friends. I learnt more. And I fell more and more in love with what this medium can capture and express.

Now I am an award winning newborn and family photographer and I am passionate about capturing special moments for you to cherish as well.

FAQs

Can we include family and sibling photos in the session?

Yes. I love including the whole family in newborn sessions. We usually start with sibling photos and then move onto whole family portraits, and parent-baby portraits before we focus on your beautiful new addition on their own.

What is the best age for newborn portraits?

Ideally newborn portraits are scheduled between 10-14 days after birth. This ensures your little one is still sleepy and tiny, feeding is usually well established and everyone is settled. Of course, sometimes this time frame is not possible. Don't worry, every age with your beautiful baby is precious and unique and we will capture beautiful photos at every age.

What do I need to bring to a newborn session for baby?

Milk and nappies. That is it. For the photos your baby will be wrapped up in one of our wraps or naked. We provide all the wraps, accessories and props needed for the shoot. You just need to have an outfit for the other members of the family.

Do you have any outfits for new Mums to wear?

Yes! I have a growing Mama Wardrobe with dresses suitable for new mums. You can view these dresses before your session and choose which ones might be best for you in your portraits.
