At Blossom Brook Studio, we are using our skills and talent to reveal it through photography. Based in Sydney, we are a professional team specializing in newborn, baby, and maternity photography. Our studio features a stunning collection of simple and classic sets and props for your unique portraits. We create both vintage-style and modern photographs as desired.

The Studio
Based in Sydney’s northern suburb of North Ryde, Blossom Brook Studio is a warm and welcoming space, designed to make the mum, dad, and bub feel right at home. We’ve set the studio up just like our own living room – with a comfy sofa, music, tea, and snacks. There’s a white noise device to ensure your baby is happy and relaxed throughout the photoshoot, as well as a baby changing station and a heater to keep the baby warm during the shoot.

Covid Safety
The safety and well-being of our clients have always been our top priority. As a newborn photography studio, we are committed to delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. There is only 2 staff working in the studio and both of us have limited unnecessary visits to the community. Each member of our staff has been vaccinated against Covid-19, as well as Whooping cough and the latest flu strain.
We wear medical face marks on every photoshoot and use hand sanitizer before & after every session. All the outfits & props used on the session are washed or sanitized. We also clean and sanitize our studio as a routine after each session. We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely and are doing everything we can to ensure everyone remains safe.

We also offer composition photoshoots – allowing you to choose a digital image as the backdrop to your photoshoot.

We understand there is a lot of stress at this special period of time, so we tried to make everything comfortable and easy for mums & dads. We would love you to enjoy an artistic and stressless photoshoot. The outfits, hairpieces, props, and backdrops are all provided. Most importantly, our professional photographer will guide you through the session, even if you never posed for a photo shoot, we are here to assist.

FAQs

Do you provide the outfit, hair-pieces? What about the make-up & hair?

Yes! We provide outfits and hairpieces, props… you can also bring your own. Most of the outfits are showing on our maternity gallery, we may have some new arrivals which you can choose on-site. It’s best you can bring your own bandeau top and underpants in those colors (black, white, nude) to match the outfits. The bandeau top or strapless bra is ideal because they match the off-shoulder dresses much better. We do have spare ones at the studio. We recommend having your hair & make-up done before coming to the studio. You can hire professionals to provide the service, alternatively, you can do it at the salon or by yourself.

Do you do bodysuit or nude artistic photos?

Yes, we love the natural and artistic photos which can show your shape perfectly. We have a range of bodysuits at our studio, please rest assured they are washed and sanitized every time of use. You are also welcomed to bring your own. Trim or shave before the session is recommended.

How to prepare outfits for the family members who join the shoot?

Your partner is welcomed to join the photoshoot! Please prepare at least one dark color and one light color outfit. Ideally, there is no logo on the outfit. Just remember less is more, simplicity always turns out to be classic. For kids, we recommend dressing them at home first to match with other family members. We do supply the outfits for kids under 5.

Can we bring our own props?

We want this session to be special for you. You are more than welcomed to bring a few things meaningful, we will include them in the photo creations. Here is a list that may give you some ideas. – Wedding rings – Things that you prepared for your unborn baby, such as a pair of tiny shoes… – Special items to the family and the baby

What is the guide time for the photoshoot?

We don't limit the time and we always leave gaps between the sessions. As long as you show up on time, we will have plenty of time to enjoy the photoshoot :) The guide time – Simply Digital Package: 1- 1.5 hours – Essential Package: 1.5 -2.5hours – Deluxe Package: 2.5-3.5 hours – Makeup & hair: 1.5 hours
