I’m a Canberra family photographer who loves creating portraits that honour your family's life stories.
I grew up in a small country town in northern NSW on a street called Oliver Street — the name that now lives on in my business. Life there was simple and genuine, and some of my most treasured memories are from that time spent with my family.
Now based in Canberra, ACT, I work with families who want more than just photos — they want meaningful family portraits that reflect who they are and what matters most.
I know how quickly life can change — and how priceless it is to have photographs that can take you back to the people and moments that shaped your life. The images I have of my late father are among my most cherished possessions. They remind me not only of who he was, but of who we were together.
My goal is to create relaxed, genuine family portraits that celebrate the love you live every day and make you feel proud of your family and your journey — images that bring back emotion every time you see them and grow more meaningful with time.
Outside of photography, I find a lot of joy in the simple things — a good cup of tea (I have a flavour for just about every occasion), pottering in the garden or preserving home-grown produce, and the steady rhythm of lifelong learning and self-improvement. Time spent walking our whippets with my husband through some of Canberra’s beautiful locations is where I reset and reflect. Those quiet, everyday moments are part of what ground me — and why I’m drawn to creating portraits that honour connection, presence, and everyday life.
I also photograph extended family sessions, milestone celebrations, and personal branding portraits for Canberra women and small business owners, as well as a small number of intimate weddings and elopements each year. My work has been published internationally and recognised in national photography awards.
