Sometimes it feels as though we’ve blinked and our little one is sitting, crawling and walking. Then before we know it, it’s their first birthday, then it’s their first day of kindy! It goes too fast. I can help you document each of these stages and milestones with a special session in my home photography studio based in Aveley.

I’m Christeen, the face behind the lens at Love Olive Photography. I’m a mum to two crazy but adorable little humans, and am married to my soulmate. I have over 9 years photography experience, and it’s my absolute passion. I love capturing life. The connection! The quirks! The things that make your little one unique! And most of all the love.

I have a clean, bright studio in the Swan Valley where I capture Maternity, Newborn, and Milestone Portraits. Living in the Swan Valley, I also am lucky to have many beautiful Perth locations on my doorstep for child and family portraits.

When should I book a cake smash session?

Most families book their session for around baby's first birthday. Booking 6-8 weeks in advance ensures time to plan and edit your images before the big day.

What's included in the session?

Your package includes everything - cake, toppers, balloons, outfits, and a splash bath to finish. Just bring your little one and let the fun begin!

What if my baby is unsure about the cake?

It’s actually very common for little ones to be a bit unsure at first! With a little patience (and sometimes a helping hand or spoon), they usually warm up to it. Whether they dive in or take their time, we always capture something beautiful and true to their personality.

Can we include family photos too?

Yes! We can start with some sweet family or portrait shots before the messy fun begins.

Do I need to bring decorations or outfits?

Not at all - I have everything covered. That being said if you would like to include something special or sentimental then you absolutely can bring it along with you.
