FAQs

Parks, forests, beaches, countryside - I have a list of many beautiful places to choose from! We'll talk about the kind of setting you'd like and agree on the location together. Standard session locations are in Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, but other locations can be arranged subject to an additional travelling fee. We can also do the photo session in your own home, inside or in your garden, and this is often the best option if your pet is more relaxed or comfortable in their own home.
I love photographing ALL kinds of animals! Dogs are certainly very popular photography subjects, but I'm also a great cat photographer and understand them very well. I know horses well too, being from a leading "horsey" family and growing up riding. In fact, I'm comfortable around all animals and welcome the opportunity to photograph any kind of pet.
Ah the weather, that's one thing we can't control, so if it doesn't cooperate with our plans, we'll reschedule the session to another day.
The pre-session planning appointment is our opportunity to go through what you want to achieve from the photoshoot. It's important for me to be clear about the style of photograph you have in mind, or what kind of artwork you are thinking of. That won't lock you into anything specific though, it's just for me to get a better understanding of your requirements and plan accordingly. I'll also ask you more about your pet's character, and we'll go through some tips and ideas so you can also be prepared for a happy, stress-free and successful photoshoot.
Yes, of course you can! It's a wonderful opportunity to get a beautiful photo of your best buddy with the people he/she loves so much. However, for those who are camera shy, we can still include a photo that shows the connection you have with your pet in a more abstract way, if you like.
